On November 1st 1962, Aircontact was founded in Oslo, Norway, making us the oldest air broker company in the world. 
We are celebrating 60 years in business and we are still flying high. 
 

On February 26^th  the largest civilian aircraft ever, landed at Troll Research Station in Antarctica. The flight was arranged by Aircontact on behalf of The Norwegian Polar Institute and operated by Icelandair, on their Boeing 767-300.

During the pandemic, there has been an increased demand for aircraft charter connected to crew change. This due to the fact that scheduled airline services have been reduced, but also because one can avoid risk of being infected with COVID-19 as you travel as a closed group.

Aircontact has the past months worked intensively to move crew and employees to/from destinations all over the world. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, charter flights are more challenging to plan than normal. In Aircontact we are though welcoming all challenges, and we have been able to perform all crew change charters booked with us.

As the  possibilities for air travel by scheduled aircraft is reduced, aircraft chartering offers a solution when you have to travel.

Easter is here and it will undoubtedly be different for all of us this year. COVID-19 has turned everything upside down, and everyone who works in the travel and aviation industry knows this all too well.

Many have chosen to follow the advice from the Norwegian government to return to Norway. The last 24 hours Aircontact has received numerous requests from groups that wants to return home.
