Aircontact Acquires Air Affairs – Strengthens Presence in Denmark

The Norwegian company AS Aircontact, the leading air charter broker in the Nordics, has as of June 30, 2025, acquired the Danish air brokerage firm Air Affairs. Following the acquisition, the name will change to Aircontact Denmark ApS, while the well-known name Air Affairs will continue to be used as a secondary brand.

With this acquisition, Danish customers gain access to Aircontact’s extensive international network and competitive pricing. This creates new opportunities and strengthens the local market with global resources and expertise.

We are very pleased to welcome Air Affairs and their customers to the Aircontact family,” says Ulf Gregersen, Managing Director of AS Aircontact.

The new Director of Aircontact Denmark will be Claus Arvin, who has over 20 years of experience in Danish aviation and has worked closely with both the business sector and specialized industries across the country.

Denmark has long been a strategically important market for us, and with this acquisition, we finally gain a strong local presence,” says Arvin.

Henrik Færch, who founded Air Affairs in 2010 and has run the company since, comments:

I’m proud of what we’ve built with Air Affairs. Our strength has always been our close customer relationships and high flexibility. Since I started the company, the market has changed significantly. Competition has intensified, and today it’s much more difficult to be a small, independent player in the industry—especially following the structural changes we’ve seen in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Færch adds:

With Aircontact as the new owner, our customers will now benefit from even more opportunities and international reach, without compromising on personal service. This is a natural and positive progression.”

Aircontact works with both private companies and public authorities. Government and public contracts will continue to be managed from the Oslo headquarters, while the Danish office will focus on the private and commercial market.

With Aircontact Denmark, we can now be even closer to our Danish customers and offer tailor-made solutions with the quality and flexibility we’re known for,” concludes Ulf Gregersen.
